I know you're wondering now what's pelican doing there in a jungle with Tom and Jerry? Nothing really. Tom certainly looks happy about this ride. According to the expression of his face he's thrilled about riding this monster truck with giant tires. No matter how hard terrain is, I guess you can't feel the ground and it's quite comfy sitting high behind that wheel. Jerry is just sitting there aside, waving at you. He must have something on his mind, preparing one his dirty tricks to use on Tom and make this trip harder.

Tom Jungle Ride

Controls feel like classic dirt bike or monster truck controls. You use arrow keys to move or tilt the truck forward and the same goes for backwards. So basically by hitting the up arrow key you're stepping on the gas pedal while pressing the down arrow you are pulling the brakes while left and right are for keeping the balance.

Spike and Tyke and that Tom's friend wearing baby diapers, are there just for distraction. They have no actual use whatsoever. Your job is just to keep an eye on the obstacles ahead and react accordingly as they slowly approach, that's all. Honestly, they could've spiced up the gameplay with a couple of explosions maybe, or they could have thrown in some action, maybe shooting. This way it's a little bit dull, sort of.
